Artist: Whistle

Album Title: Carry Your Cross

Unairable Tracks: None

Label: Huniland Ent

This is Whistle, a talented chanter and charismatic song writer of a high caliber. Like Lecrae,

Bizzle, Da Truth and The Ambassador, Harare rapper Whistle is a highly skilled, fast-talking, diary-

spilling, reformer. There's nothing about his music that should have kept him from the mainstream

spotlight. The Man's second and by far tamest album. This album carries a new sound of beats

which merges Hip Hop with Rock Lead Guitars especially on the songs, Chase the Dream and

That Life. This fusion synthesizes well to create an innovative genre of eclectic excitement! Carry

Your Cross takes you on a journey through the contemporary issues facing Christians and

emphasizes more on practical Christianity. This album is different from his first album which

speaks volumes on how he gave his life to the living Jesus Christ, who cleansed him with his

blood. Instead this album instills a mind-expanding element to his music. The theme Carry Your

Cross not only reads through on the cover art, but continues in titles and song content. The Man

certainly knows how to take you on a voyage through the bible by his music as reflected by the

recital of scriptures to buttress his message. He may not swear, but Carry Your Cross is as hard-

hitting as any rap record out right now. In short, this album is just the quintessence of excellence,

a hub and haven of quality music thus it is a masterpiece of Christian Hip Hop.
